IESY have the following categories of membership

 Full member 

These are members who are mentioned as founders or those who act or once acted as directors  and shall;

• Have a right to participate fully in the activities and proceedings of IESY
• Have a right to vote or be voted into an Organ/Office of IESY
• Have access to facilities provided by IESY where necessary.
• Have the right of expression on the IESY activities without undue influence for any member of the Organization
• Have a right to appeal if a member feels unjustifiably treated by IESY

  Honorary member 

  These are member who may be nominated by the Board; and  shall have;

• A right to participate in the activities and proceedings of IESY on invitation by the Executive Committee
• Access to facilities provided by IESY where necessary.
• No right to vote or be voted for.

  Associate member

• Participate in the proceedings and activities of the General Assembly but without voting rights
• There exists no right to be elected to any organ or committee of the Organization
• Meet the financial obligation to the organization as shall be determined by the General Assembly from time to time
• Be nominated or selected as representative in any of the undertakings of the Organization
